WHO WE ARE
Welcome to Arkansas People Achieving Recovery Together (APART)! We are a nonprofit organization dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of individuals affected by substance use in the great state of Arkansas. As the only statewide recovery coalition in Arkansas, we are committed to expanding recovery services and resources across the state.

At APART, our mission is twofold. Firstly, we strive to expand recovery services for substance use throughout Arkansas. We firmly believe that everyone deserves access to quality treatment, support, and resources on their journey to recovery. Through collaboration with various stakeholders, including individuals in recovery, treatment providers, community organizations, and policymakers, we work towards improving the availability and accessibility of recovery services across the state.

Secondly, we aim to develop, implement, and evaluate state-wide efforts to broaden recovery and awareness. We recognize the importance of raising public consciousness about substance use disorders and the power of recovery. By conducting educational campaigns, organizing community events, and fostering partnerships, we seek to promote understanding, reduce stigma, and encourage a supportive environment for those in recovery.

We also recognize the need for systemic change in the field of substance use and recovery. APART actively engages in policy advocacy and collaborates with policymakers to promote evidence-based practices, improve treatment options, and secure funding for essential recovery services. By shaping the conversation and driving meaningful change at the state level, we work towards building a recovery-friendly Arkansas.

Whether you're someone in recovery, a family member seeking support, a community organization, or an ally in the fight against substance use disorders, we invite you to join us in our mission. Together, we can create a stronger, more inclusive, and supportive recovery community throughout the State of Arkansas. Let's achieve recovery together with APART!
